Peter is the Member for Camden in the State Parliament of NSW.
Married to Amy, with four daughters, Lani (nine), Kaiyah (seven) and twins Brielle and Zara (four). Peter understands the challenges faced by local families in Camden, especially cost of living pressures.
In his previous professional experience, Peter has worked for his family-owned small business, multi-national corporations, and the Catholic Education System of Schools. Peter knows first-hand the importance of a strong local economy to create jobs and take the pressure off hardworking families and retirees.

About Camden and Camden Electorate
“Established 1840. Birthplace of the nation’s wealth”

Shortly after the settlement at Sydney Cove in 1788, the colony’s herd of cattle, 4 cows and 2 bulls, escaped into the bush and were lost. In 1795 explorers rediscovered the herd of cattle on the banks of the Nepean River, now a herd of several dozen. Governor Hunter named the area where they were found “The Cowpastures”.
The town of Camden was founded on “The Cowpastures” in 1840 on land formerly owned by John Macarthur and named in honour of Lord Camden who, in 1805, sanctioned the grant of 5000 acres to Macarthur for the raising of the first Merino sheep in Australia. In addition to sheep, John Macarthur began Australia’s dairy industry in Camden in 1826.
